There is nothing more painful than the moment when you live in an unconscious marriage hanging by a thread, enduring with your last strength — and suddenly a person appears on your path, and with all your soul you understand: he is the one. This is a trial in which the entire depth of human honor is tested.
Someone in that second gives in to weakness, resorts to deceit and betrayal, defiling both their current home and the new bright feeling. The outcome of such a step is always terrible: people who once shared a bed break each other's hearts and turn into merciless enemies ready to tear each other apart, and between them children suffer.
But there is another path — the path of an inner moral code, when you simply cannot allow yourself to step into a new relationship through a lie, no matter how much your heart aches. You choose purity and step back. And then life once again parts you onto different shores — until you both grow and become truly free. Sometimes, after such pain, a person closes up so deeply that they are afraid to try again. And sometimes fate, having waited for the hour of purity and freedom, brings two grown souls back together — now without shadow and without barriers.
