The transition from first attraction to a lifelong union requires the courage to be real. For what once ignited in the past does not by itself guarantee the future — the future is built only by the way people speak and act today.

First, within this World, you learn to hear yourself and to honestly name what your soul longs for, while you are still at the beginning of a relationship. Then the constraint and the fear of causing offense fall away: you discover new facets in each other, learn to understand nuances and to cherish the boundaries of the one you love.

And then the precariousness disappears. Beautiful but silent glances give way to real decisions and manly deeds — that very unbreakable foundation on which two people build their shared home.
