A letter about the boundary that parents must never cross

There is nothing more frightening than the moment when you open the doors of your home to your elders with a pure, sincere heart, and in response, intrigues and conspiracies begin to weave behind your back. When parents forget about neutrality and blindly take the side of their son or their daughter against the other spouse.

By interfering in someone else's union, parents are often certain they are doing the right thing. But they do not know the whole truth and do not even realize what devastating, irreparable pain they inflict on another person and how they cripple the fates of their own grandchildren, tearing their world apart.

I write this letter as a reminder of the highest law of ancestral honour: never become judges in the house of your children.
