The Code of Pure Gold: Why the House will never have info-business and selling air

The last decade will go down in the history of civilization as the era of the great swindle.

The Internet, which once dreamed of becoming a treasury of world thought, has turned into a bazaar farce, where every second yesterday's dunce, having mastered retelling Wikipedia or copied a neural network's answer into a colorful presentation, declares himself a "master of scaling", a "guru of quantum thinking" and a "mentor of millionaires".

They persistently try to convince us that depth, decades of labor and academic schooling are no longer worth anything. The main thing is to turn on the smartphone camera in time, make a soulful face, warm up the audience with cheap drama and sell air at the price of gold bars.

This circus would be simply ridiculous if it were not for two tragedies behind which stand broken human faith and undisguised cynicism.

The first tragedy is the ruthless hunt for trusting people.

Recently a woman with tears of sincere hope showed a "breakthrough online course" for which she gave 300 euros — money set aside from the hardest labor. She was promised with pathos a "demanded profession of the future", financial independence and a ticket to a new life.

And what turned out to be inside this precious little box? A primitive, shaky video where some self-proclaimed "expert" with stumbles taught how to press basic buttons in a standard text editor.
Things that today a six-year-old child masters playfully in five minutes, when on his own, without adults' prompts, he composes prompts for artificial intelligence and edits videos for his children's channel. To adults, exhausted people, this is sold for hundreds of euros under the guise of the sacred secret of the universe!

But there is a scheme even more vile and sophisticated.

Recall another story — the story of a talented girl, a true master of her craft, who has gone through years of the most complex practice, who has dozens of diplomas, certificates and impeccable hands. She sincerely dreamed of passing her mastery to the world and creating her first author's course. But how to break through in the noise of social networks? On the horizon immediately appear glossy "producers of online schools".

"We will package you! We will teach you to scale!" — they sing sweetly into the phone.
To reserve a place they demand "just an advance" — 250 euros. And the course itself for several thousand will begin in a month. And while the course is being prepared, she is kindly given access to the so-called "pre-course".

And a couple of weeks later an unforeseen thing happens in the girl's life: a move to another city, urgent expenses, a difficult situation when these 250 euros are vitally needed for survival. The course has not even come close to starting! She applies for cancellation and lawful refund of the reservation.
