Privacy Policy — Her World

Updated: May 3, 2026.

This policy explains how VIA AD ME processes personal data when using the Her World website, the Her space service, the demo version, paid plans, and related services. The policy is prepared in accordance with GDPR/DSGVO, German data protection legislation, and cookie/local storage requirements.

Data Controller

The data controller is VIA AD ME, a project registered in Europe. Contact for privacy inquiries: support@viaadme.com. If a separate Impressum / Anbieterkennzeichnung is published on the site, the details from it complement this policy.

What data do we process

We may process: email, language, selected world, plan, subscription start and end date, access code, password hash, code usage status, amount of storage used, space records, answers to questions, drawings, uploaded photos, audio recordings, file metadata (type, size, MIME type, page number, file key), payment and transaction information from Stripe and PayPal, support messages, technical request data (e.g., IP address, time, browser, errors), as well as cookie and localStorage data.

For what purpose and on what basis

We process data to provide digital space and access to the selected plan, to store your records and files, to process payments, to confirm purchases, to send service messages, to ensure security, to prevent abuse, to fulfill accounting and tax obligations, to respond to inquiries, and to improve service stability. Legal bases: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), legitimate interest in security and service support (Art. 6(1)(f)), and for non-essential cookies, marketing, or specific features — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Where is the data stored

The digital space base is stored in Europe. Texts, responses, account information, and subscriptions are stored in Supabase. Uploaded photos, drawings, and audio files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We strive to use European storage regions and data processing agreements with contractors. If a separate provider, such as Stripe, PayPal, Cloudflare, or a mailing service, processes data outside the EEA, GDPR protection mechanisms apply, including standard contractual clauses when necessary.

Subscription and storage period

Access to the digital space is provided for 1 year from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the purchase page. After the subscription ends, all data in the space across all plans is completely deleted: records, responses, drawings, photos, audio, file metadata, and associated user content. Deletion is final and recovery is impossible. In the PROFUNDUM plan, the function to download your completed journal is available until the subscription ends. Payment and accounting data may be stored longer if required by EU or German law, such as tax and commercial obligations.

Demo version

The demo version is intended for preliminary familiarization with the logic and interface of the space. In the demo version, data may only be temporarily stored in the browser's memory or localStorage and may be reset. Do not enter information in the demo version that you do not want to lose.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses necessary cookies and localStorage for the interface to function, remembering cookie consent, logging into the digital space, the selected language, world, plan, and returning from PayPal checkout. For example, the service cookie via_paypal_checkout is stored for up to 45 minutes, used only to complete the payment, and is set as HttpOnly/SameSite. Cookies and localStorage that are not strictly necessary are used only with consent where required by GDPR and German TDDDG. You can change your browser settings, clear cookies/localStorage, or decline optional cookies in the banner.

Who receives the data

Access to the data is granted only to those contractors and services necessary for the project's operation: hosting and infrastructure, Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Stripe, PayPal, mailing and support service tools, as well as technical specialists who need access for maintenance. We do not sell the content of the space and do not use it for third-party advertising.

Your content and sensitive information

The space may contain personal and emotionally sensitive records. You decide what to include. Do not upload illegal content, others' personal data without justification, medical documents, government documents, credit cards, or other information that is not needed for using the space.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can request access to data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent for the future. You can also file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence or in Germany, if applicable. Send requests to support@viaadme.com.

Security

We use technical and organizational protection measures: access restriction, password hashing, RLS policies in the database, service keys only on the server, HTTPS, and access control to user data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so keep access to your email and password confidential.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when laws, infrastructure, or functions change. The current date is indicated at the top. Significant changes, if required by law, will be communicated to users in a reasonable manner.

Terms of Use

Terms of use — Her World

Updated: May 3, 2026.

These terms govern the use of the Her World website, the Her Space service, the demo version, paid plans, and related services of VIA AD ME. By purchasing access or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Service

Her Space is a digital space for personal reflection. The service allows you to write responses, draw, upload photos, answer additional questions, and download your completed journal in PROFUNDUM. The service is not a medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, financial, or legal consultation.

Scope of the service

By purchasing you receive access to the world you selected (Her World or His World), in the language you selected, and in the tier you selected (Initium or Profundum). The language of your space is set at purchase and cannot be changed afterwards. A permanently free demo version is available to you at any time.

Rates and access period

The INITIUM and PROFUNDUM rates provide digital access for 1 year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the purchase page. Access level, storage limits, and features depend on the selected rate and are shown before payment: INITIUM — entry questionnaire and the 7 base stages; PROFUNDUM — full access to the journal, including all deep questions and practices, and the ability to download the completed journal.

Payment

Payment is processed through Stripe or PayPal. These providers handle payment data according to their own terms and policies. Price, currency, taxes, and the selected rate are displayed before payment. Access is created after payment confirmation by the payment provider.

Demo and informed decision

Before purchasing, the user can review the demo and interface of the digital space. The demo allows understanding the product format before obtaining paid access. By purchasing a rate, you confirm that you had the opportunity to evaluate the product in advance.

Right of withdrawal and refunds for digital access

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the distance contract. However, for digital content or digital services provided not on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost after access begins if you explicitly agreed to the immediate commencement of performance and confirmed understanding that you lose the right of withdrawal as a result. Therefore, a refund for a digital rate is only possible if access has not yet been provided and the user has not had the opportunity to enter the paid space. After access is granted, sending the code/activating the account, or the actual ability to use the paid space, no refund is made, except in cases where mandatory consumer rights explicitly require otherwise. The order checkout page includes a checkbox where you explicitly confirm your consent to the immediate commencement of performance and understanding of the loss of the right of withdrawal; without this confirmation, payment is not available.

End of subscription and data deletion

After the end of the annual subscription, user content in all rates is completely deleted without the right to restore: entries, responses, drawings, photos, audio, and related metadata. We are not obliged to keep a backup of the space data after the subscription ends. PROFUNDUM users should download their completed journal before the subscription ends if they want to keep a copy. After deletion, it is impossible to restore the space data.

Account and security

You are required to use a valid email, keep your access code and password confidential, and not share access with third parties. You are responsible for actions taken through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, write to support@viaadme.com.

Acceptable use

It is prohibited to use the service illegally, attempt to access others' data, bypass rate limits, interfere with the infrastructure, upload malicious files, infringe on third-party rights, or post content that violates the law.

Rights to materials and your content

Texts, structure of the space, visual materials, interface, audio, design, and software code of VIA AD ME are protected by copyright and other rights. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the service for the paid period. Rights to your entries and uploaded files remain with you; you grant us a technical license necessary for storing, displaying, processing, and backing up the service operation within your account.

Availability and changes

We strive to maintain stable operation, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access without technical breaks. Features may change, improve, or be replaced, provided that this does not deprive the user of the essential paid capabilities of the rate. Maintenance, contractor failures, or force majeure may temporarily limit access.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by mandatory law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, harm to life, body, or health. In other cases, our liability is limited to direct foreseeable damages and the amount paid for the corresponding digital rate for the current period, as far as permitted by law.

Governing law and consumer protection

These terms are governed by the law of the country of registration of VIA AD ME in Europe. If the project is governed by the law of Germany or the user has mandatory consumer rights in Germany/EU, such rights are preserved and not limited by these terms. Disputes are considered in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
